Alden Beach Resort in St. Pete Beach, Fla., is nestled on five acres overlooking the Gulf of Mexico and is convenient to Tampa International Airport. Guests can browse the shops and galleries on nearby Corey Avenue, or enjoy a frozen drink at the beachside Cabana Bar. The St. Petersburg area offers a variety of shops, restaurants, movie theaters, theatrical productions, as well as a variety of museum and art galleries. Guests are 45 minutes from Busch Gardens and Adventure Island. Walt Disney World and Universal Studios are 90 minutes away.
Guests can play tennis on one of two lighted courts, join the kids on the playground or challenge them to a game of shuffleboard, ping-pong, basketball or video games in the game room. Guests can take a dip in one of two heated pools or in one of two whirlpool spas. The Tampa-area resort also has fountains, a waterfall and an elevated cookout deck with four barbecue grills. For guests' convenience, laundry facilities and a mini-mart are on site.
Guests can choose from Nassau, Bermuda or Lanai suites. The Nassau Suite features a fully equipped kitchen, And the Lanai Suite has a kitchenette. All units have private balconies or a patio where guests can relax with family or friends. Additional amenities include air conditioning, ceiling fans, in-room safe, modem/data port connections and telephones.
