Location. The Resort & Club at Little Harbor in Ruskin, Fla., is located on the south shore of Tampa Bay. This island resort is set on 124 acres surrounded by the tranquil waters of the resort's marinas, harbors and the bay. The Golf Club at Cypress Creek offers 36 holes of championship golf eight miles away.
Features. This resort and residential village offer a harmonious blend of Anglo-Caribbean architecture and tropical landscaping. Overlooking the beach, the Mangroves Restaurant features Caribbean cuisine. Sunsets Grille & Lounge offers light meals, televisions showing sporting events and views of Tampa Bay. The patio of the lounge features live entertainment. A beachside tiki bar offers cocktails and live entertainment. Meeting rooms provide space for small groups or up to 200 guests for special events. Catering services are available. The resort offers three deep-water marinas with a total of 330 boat slips, including a fuel dock, a bait and tackle store, boat ramp launch and boat trailer parking. A 250-foot fishing pier is on the premises. Fishing charters are available for a fee. The resort features a secluded, one-half mile, white-sand beach with complimentary chaise lounges and umbrellas. A harbor-side pool with a spa tub and a bayside pool offer lounge chairs, tables shaded with umbrellas and complimentary towels. Three night-lit tennis courts with gallery seating, a tennis pro and pro shop are available. A fitness center is located above the pro shop. A shuffleboard court, horseshoe field, beach volleyball, a basketball court and a playground are also on site. Pets are not allowed at this property.
Guestrooms. Accommodations at The Resort & Club at Little Harbor feature private balconies or patios with views of Tampa Bay, the marina or the calm waters of the mangrove preserves. All units offer mini fridges, coffeemakers with complimentary coffee and microwave ovens. Suites feature kitchenettes with two-burner stoves, dishwashers, tableware and cookware. Well-lit desks and complimentary high-speed Internet access are available. Cable television is provided in all accommodations. Private bathrooms feature granite countertops.
Expert Tip. Watercraft rentals available at the resort include WaveRunners, Hobie Cat sailboats, kayaks, Stingray boats and 19-foot center console motorboats.

This resort is renovating the following areas. Construction on the road to the property and at the buildings at the entrance of the hotel is scheduled for completion in February 2008.

Approximate distance to the resort is 36 miles.
Exit the airport via the SR-60 ramp toward I-275/Downtown.
Merge onto North Memorial Highway/FL-60 East.
Merge onto I-275 North toward I-4.
Merge onto I-4 East via Exit 45B toward Orlando.
Take Exit 2, FL-569/40th Street.
Follow FL-569 to the Crosstown Expressway Toll East ramp toward Brandon.
Merge onto South Crosstown Expressway/FL-618 East.
Merge onto I-75 South via Exit 15A toward Naples.
Merge onto FL-674 West via Exit 240B toward Ruskin.
Turn right onto Tamiami Trail/FL-45 North/US-41 North to the intersection of US-41 North and Shell Point Road.
Turn left onto Shell Point Road and drive three miles to 32nd Street.
At 32nd Street, turn right and follow signs to the resort.
