Location. DiamondHead Beach Resort is an oceanfront resort located on Estero Island in Fort Myers Beach, Fla. The resort is one-half mile from Fort Myers' entertainment district, also known as Main Street, which boasts boutiques, bistros and independently owned shops. Fishing charters are located one mile away. Bay Beach Golf Club, an 18-hole course with Bermuda grass and a variety of water hazards, is four miles from the resort.
Features. The 12-story DiamondHead Beach Resort offers fine dining at Chloe's Restaurant and Lounge, which features live piano music, fresh seafood and choice cuts of beef. Cabana's Beach Bar and Grill is a casual outdoor eatery overlooking the gulf and resort's pool. Business and social events can be accommodated in the resort's 10,000 square feet of meeting space, which includes an executive boardroom. DiamondHead Beach Resort offers a sundeck with a heated pool and cabanas, two spa tubs and lounge chairs overlooking the beach. Beach rentals and water sports include parasailing and jet skiing. Supervised activities for children three and older are available on weekends.
Guestrooms. Apartment-style suites feature kitchenettes with microwave ovens, mini fridges, dishes, cookware and coffeemakers. Dining tables with chairs are provided. Cable television is available in the living rooms and bedrooms. Bathrooms include bathtubs and showers. Towels and linens, housewares and a start-up supply of coffee and paper goods are provided. Turn left onto Ben C. Pratt Parkway/Six Mile Cypress Parkway/CR-80B South.
Stay straight to go onto Gladiolus Drive/CR-865 West.
Make a slight left turn onto Summerlin Road/CR-869 South.
Turn left onto San Carlos Boulevard/FL-865.
San Carlos Boulevard/FL-865 becomes Estero Boulevard/CR-865.
