Location. Ocean Walk Resort is set on one mile of vehicle-free beach overlooking Atlantic Avenue in Daytona Beach, Fla. Attractions, including the Daytona Boardwalk, Klassix Auto Museum, Daytona USA, Main Street Pier and Daytona International Speedway, are within eight miles of the resort.
Features. This oceanfront condo resort features Art Deco architecture with gated, landscaped beach access. McGregor's Market, the resort's cafeteria-style restaurant, serves hot breakfast items, pizza, chicken baskets, sandwiches and burgers. A tiki bar offers light fare and specialty drinks. Business and social events can be accommodated in a 5,000-square-foot grand ballroom and 1,000 square feet of meeting space. Two indoor heated pools, a game room, exercise and health facilities and an indoor nine-hole golf training center are available. The hotel includes a 300-foot lazy river winding around an island putting green, and a free-form heated outdoor pool with waterfall. The Vacation Therapy Spa offers massages, manicures and pedicures, body treatments, skin care and waxing. An enclosed children's pool includes an aquatic playground.
Guestrooms. Ocean Walk Resort offers condos with Art Deco styling and step-out balconies with views of the ocean or resort buildings. Fully equipped kitchens include stoves, microwave ovens, dishwashers and refrigerators with icemakers. Ceiling fans are included in the living rooms and bedrooms. Cable television and VCRs are provided. All accommodations feature washers and dryers. Select units offer jetted tubs in the master bedrooms.
